Who we are

TPA Argentina is a company with 30 years of experience serving the Naval Industry in Argentina and the world. We are located in the Port of the City of Mar del Plata, Argentina, where we operate a plot of 13,173 Mt2 with a water mirror and current capacity for dry docking of vessels up to 650 Ton. displacement and 45 Mts. length. Since 2023 we are an ISO 9001 certified, company in Quality Management Systems, approved by DNV.

Naval

We are located in the Port of the City of Mar del Plata, Argentina, where we operate a plot of 13,173 Mt2 with a water mirror and current capacity for dry docking of vessels up to 650 Ton. displacement and 45 Mts. length.

Naval repairs: TPA Argentina can carry out complete repairs of vessels up to 650 tons displacement and 45 meters length. Services include fairing, comprehensive mid-life repairs, replacements of high complexity steels, installation of hull appendages, replacements of generation plants, replacements of propulsion sets, thermal/non-thermal mechanical tasks, general assistance, large machining and industrial assemblies.

Naval constructions: TPA Argentina also builds vessels and naval artifacts. Some of its recent constructions include fishing vessels, pilot boats and railway cars.

Machining

TPA Argentina has a very updated generation mechanical and machining workshop, with -among others- the following equipment:

– Ultrasonic cleaning tank
– Heat treatment oven up to 1,100ºC
– “Arc Spray” material contribution equipment
– Crankshaft Grinder
– CNC Lathe
– Parallel lathes up to 7 mts. bed (possibility of aligned work up to 14 mts.)

Among the tasks that TPA Argentina performs in its workshop are:

– Overhaul of fast, semi-slow and slow engines and their parts
– Overhaul of gearboxes
– Water/oil pump and valve overhaul
– Comprehensive overhaul of fishing winches
– Construction of axle lines and large machining
– Large grinding

Onboard Services:

– The company has technicians who are available to provide service at any point in the country, providing field service and onboard vessels.
– We have a vehicle fleet according to demand and also have the corresponding permits to work with onboard personnel.

Comercio Exterior

Desde el 2016, la empresa continua con un desarrollo sostenido de su Departamento de Comercio Exterior que además de canalizar las importaciones de repuestos y productos terminados de sus compañías representadas, realiza exportaciones de frutos de mar y alimentos en general a clientes en países tales como Noruega, Japón, Estados Unidos, Canadá y Brasil.
